Although it's a commonly overlooked home maintenance item, regularly cleaning & maintaining your dryer vent is vital for the safety of your home & well-being of your family. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission states that about 15,000 house fires per year are caused by lint buildup in dryers and their vents. Additionally, clogged / blocked vents can result in carbon monoxide intrusion & over-working of the Clothes Dryer Unit itself. This causes longer drying times, a damaged dryer unit, increased prices on your energy bill & an ever building fire risks.
We use strong air pressure and rotating brushes to clean the entire duct. Per accessibility, we also clean the termination hood (cap), transition hose (behind the dryer unit) & lint trap (inside dryer). Our technician will inform you of any recommendations & possible repairs that may be needed.
We can repair the termination hood (cap), transition hose and clamps, and re-route and/or replace the ducting as needed. We do not service or repair the dryer unit itself. A local trained Appliance Service Technician or Company can provide this service.
